Chisora V Usyk at Wembley?

Chisora V Usyk at Wembley?

Derek Chisora delivered an amazing performance, rolling back the clock and defeating Otto Wallin unanimously. Otto Wallin did not seem the same fighter he was before his loss to Anthony Joshua but take nothing away from Del-Boy showing up in Manchester and doing the business in front of a full arena. This was at Manchester's Co-Op Live with a wonderful crowd and undercard.

Chisora showcased he still had something left in his tank at 41, knocking Wallin down in rounds 9 and 12. Chisora also had a VERY bad cut above his right eye from an accidental headbutt in the 5th round and shared that his eardrums had popped during the fight, after the final bell with reporters. The victory was Chisora's 49th professional fight. He wants his 50th and final match to take place in London after having previously mentioned it could be overseas. After this win, Chisora could rise to the 2nd spot in the IBF heavyweight rankings, so his 'Last Dance' may well be a title shot!

After the fight Skepta, Lethal B and Tinnie Tempah entered the ring holding large cards of Oleksandr Usyk, Anthony Joshua, and Daniel Dubois. The Manchester crowd cheered loudly for a matchup against Joshua, who is Chisora's long-term friend and he is even represented by AJ's management company. Here at Hy-Lyfe Media, we DO NOT want to see War Chisora in the ring with AJ and would prefer to see him get a rematch with Usyk at Wembley: 1) The first fight was behind closed doors and Chisora feeds off the crowd 2) Wallin was a southpaw, so Chisora just had a full camp against a left-hander and did well switch-hitting 3) Chisora was not rocked in 12 rounds and did arguably as well if not better than AJ and Tyson Fury did against the Ukrainian!

At Hy-Lyfe we want to wish Derek Chisora all the very best with his 50th and final bout & getting the biggest possible payday to retire with!!!

The fighters he could also face in his 50th fight are:

  • Francis Ngannou - In Africa
  • Dillian Whyte - This will be a trilogy
  • Anthony Joshua - Stranger things have happened
  • Joseph Parker - This will be a trilogy & possibly a world title
  • Jarrell Miller - He was supposed to fight instead of Wallin
