Main event: George Kambosos Jr vs Jake Wyllie AND THE WINNER IS Kambosos by UD 117-111, 117-111 & 115-113. Wyllie showed up and tried hard. Eddie Hearn stated "You will have a contract on Monday morning" after Wyllie asked. Wyllie certainly showed up, but Kambosos was the clear winner even with a huge gash above his eye from a head clash!
Skye Nicolson vs Tiara Brown WBC World Featherweight Title. After 10 rounds... THE WINNER IS Brown by SD 96-94, 96-94 & 97-93. This was an upset for the Aussie Olympian losing in her homecoming, with even the Aussie ref scoring it for Brown!
Aussie heavyweight Teremoana Teremoana had yet ANOTHER first-round stoppage against James Singh. Singh landed some good rights and looked game before Teremoana first dropped him and then the ref stopped the fight, potentially a bit early, but there were no complaints from Singh and his corner.
Cherneka Johnson vs Nina Hughes 2 WBA World Bantamweight Title. AND THE WINNER IS Johnson by STOPPAGE!!! Hughes is 42 and a Mother of 2 and her corner stopped the fight after clearly being beaten throughout. This was a rematch due to the controversial first fight when the ring announcer read Hughes out as the winner by mistake.
Imam Khataev Vs Elias Palacio WHAT A FIGHT TO OPEN THE NIGHT IN AUS!!! And the WINNER is Khataev 99-89, 99-89, 98-90. He moved to 10-0 and this was his first fight that went the distance, as the other 9 were all by KO! Palacio did get dropped early, but was in the fight all the way and Khataev's eye was closed by the end of the fight. We HIGHLY recommend watching this fight or any time these guys are in the ring next...
