Chisora's Last Dance?

Chisora's Last Dance?
Derek Chisora will fight Otto Wallin in a heavyweight match-up on Saturday, February 8th, at the Co-op Live Arena, Manchester. It has been named "The Last Dance", as it is Chisora's 49th fight, but Chisora stated he will retire after 50 bouts, so this is his 'Last Dance' within the UK...
Chisora is 41, and his professional record is 35 wins and 13 losses. He is coming off a shock victory over Joe Joyce in July 2024, where he won by U.D. Chisora has shared the ring with Tyson Fury x3, Dillian Whyte x2 and Joseph Parker x2. He has been in with every notable world heavyweight within his 48 fights except, Anthony Joshua, as they are great friends and Chisora is even managed by AJ's long-term friend 'KD'.
Otto Wallin is 34. The Swedish boxer has a record of 27 wins and 2 losses, with ONLY 2 defeats coming against Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua. He won his last bout with a first-round knockout victory over Onoriode Ehwarieme in July 2024. They have both had the same time out of the ring, with Wallin having a lot less wear and tear though. He took Fury the full distance and was SERIOUSLY unlucky for the fight not to be stopped, as he cut Fury's eye early in the fight and we believe it should have been stopped because of all the blood.
There is no real bad blood between them and AJ did knock Wallin out when they met before the Daniel Dubois fight, BUT it has just been announced this will be an IBF World Title Eliminator, so the winner will face the winner of Dubois Vs Parker after the meet in Riyadh Feb 22nd 2025.
At Hy-Lyfe Media we want to congratulate Derek Chisora on his 49th bout after many pundits said he should have retired years ago, he is still selling out arenas and we are backing him for another shock victory and a shot at another world title as his true 'Last Dance' !!!
Even if he loses we wish him all the very best in getting that dream payday and the fighters he could face in his 50th fight are:
- Daniel Dubois - current IBF Champion
- Joseph Parker - this will be a trilogy
- Francis Ngannou - In Africa
- Dillian Whyte - this will be a trilogy
- Anthony Joshua - Stranger things have happened
